Food and Drink: The seafood in Tela was pretty good. We had a seafood paella at Bahia Azul in Tela and a seafood soup at another beach-front restaurant. Both were good but don’t make our must-eats list.
Must Eats:
In fact, we don’t have any must eats. Between being sick and being on a tight budget, we didn’t get to try a lot of things. We’re sure there are must eats out there, but we missed them.
Highlights:
- Enjoying the view while having a beer at Maya Vista Hotel and Restaurant in Tela.
Best Deal:
- Trading a ratty Anne Rice novel for a used (6-year-old) Mexico Lonely Planet guidebook at the Maya Vista book exchange.
