Food and Drink: We didn’t find much by way of Costa Rican cuisine, other than the almuerzos - set lunch menus that are cheap, but not that good - and the rice and beans staple. But we did find great Mexican food, Peruvian food, and other international fare that was tres tasty. And we broke down and had Pizza Hut, which is everywhere.

Must Eats:

• A “Coffin” cocktail at La Bruja Bar in Jaco
• Typical breakfast - eggs and rice and beans fills you up for cheap

• Surfing in Jaco with Kassie

• Returning to La Bruja Bar and seeing The Witch in Jaco
